Ever Wonder Why You Are Here?
You were created on purpose for a purpose.
What does God say about me?
From the very beginning of time, God has shown how deeply He loves His creation. In Genesis, God creates man and woman and declares it good. Throughout the entire Bible, despite humanity’s shortcomings, God consistently offers protection, provision, and blessing.
The greatest expression of God’s love is found in Jesus, His Son. Jesus left His heavenly throne, took on human flesh, and walked the Earth. He is the living picture of God’s love for us. His ultimate sacrifice on the cross reveals God’s longing to restore His relationship with us. Because of Jesus’ resurrection, we now have the opportunity to experience this love personally and fully.
This is the truth of who we are: created in God’s image (Genesis 1:27), loved by our Creator, and chosen by Him.

Here are a few verses that remind us that we are created and loved by God.

I've messed up a lot, how do I know God loves me?
Our TeamTake a look at this verse:
“But God shows His love for us in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us.” — Romans 5:8
Take a moment and let that sink in.
How does that make you feel?
In this verse, we see both some hard news and some incredible news.
The Hard News:
We are sinners. All of us. No one is exempt from this reality apart from Jesus. In Genesis 3, we read how Adam and Eve—God’s first created humans—disobeyed Him. That one choice brought separation between God and humanity. Because of their sin, we are now all born into sin—bound by our own desires, stuck in brokenness, and constantly searching for something to make us whole.
The Good News:
Jesus. The good news is that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us. Jesus—completely sinless—willingly entered our mess and chose to love us anyway. He gave His life to break the chains of sin and make a way for us to be free. Because of His death and resurrection, we can now walk in that freedom.
So how do we experience this freedom?
Let’s look at another verse:
“If you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart one believes and is justified, and with the mouth one confesses and is saved.”
— Romans 10:9–10 (emphasis added)
Keep reading Romans 10 and you’ll find even more of this truth:
When we believe in Jesus as Lord and confess our need for Him, we are saved. That’s the best news you’ll ever hear.

How do I know I can trust God with my future?
The future can feel overwhelming.
Scroll through any social media feed or turn on the news, and you're quickly met with fears and uncertainty—fears about your own future, your family's, and the world’s.
You’re not alone in feeling this way.
Anxiety about the future is something we all wrestle with.
But God speaks directly into our fear:
“Fear not, for I am with you;
be not dismayed, for I am your God;
I will strengthen you, I will help you,
I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.”
— Isaiah 41:10
God promises His presence, His strength, and His help. He is faithful—and this truth echoes throughout all of Scripture.
We can trust Him because He always keeps His promises. He has been faithful in the past, He is faithful now, and He will continue to be faithful in the future.

What is my purpose according to God?
Did you know that God tells us directly what our purpose is?
Scripture has a lot to say about God’s creation—you and me included. If you type “What is my purpose?” into Google, you’ll get dozens of verses and interpretations. It can be overwhelming.
Here’s the short answer:
Our purpose is to love God, love others, and make His name known.
But maybe you’re asking, “Okay… but how does that help me figure out what I should actually do with my life?”
Great question.
The Bible doesn’t always give us specific details about our job titles or career paths—but it does tell us how to live. And that’s the foundation of our purpose.
It means loving God in the way we show up at work and treat our coworkers.
It means reflecting Christ in how we handle both success and suffering.
It means being faithful wherever we are, knowing that God can use every season for His glory.
Feeling stuck or unsure about what’s next? Try asking yourself:
“Where can I glorify God and love others well?”
“Does this job open doors for me to reflect Christ to those around me?”
“Does this relationship honor God and point others to Him—or is it just serving me?”
At the end of the day, your purpose isn’t just about what you do—it’s about who you follow.
Seek God in every decision, and be faithful with what’s in front of you. That’s what purpose looks like.
