Our Pastor

Ron returned to serve as Lead Pastor in August 2022, having previously led the church from 2012 to 2018. His return reflects both a deep love for the local church and a proven history of faithful, effective leadership.

Ron is deeply convinced that the local church should be a catalyst for the flourishing of its community. He leads with a vision of a church that is outward-focused - actively addressing community needs, cultivating strong partnerships with local organizations, and taking initiative to serve and strengthen the region as a whole.

With decades of leadership experience spanning the church, marketplace, government, and nonprofit sectors, Ron is widely regarded as a “leader of leaders.” He is the voice behind a highly influential leadership blog, consistently ranked among the most engaged resources for church leaders; in addition to being the author of several books. Ron is frequently invited to coach pastors and consult with churches (and marketplace leaders) across the country and internationally.

Under Ron’s leadership, Immanuel is intentionally committed to investing in and strengthening other churches. As Ron often reminds the staff and congregation, “To whom much is given, much is required” - a conviction that continues to shape both the culture and calling of the church.
