My Soul Magnifies the Lord

Magnify
“And Mary said: ‘My soul magnifies the Lord, and my spirit rejoices in God my Savior, because he has looked with favor on the humble condition of his servant.’” (Luke 1:46-48)
Were she here today, she might invite us to “magnify the Lord with me, and let us exalt his name together!” (Psalm 34:3)
Today, therefore, magnify and exalt the Lord. Rejoice in God your Savior as you read these truths:
“God is not human, that he should lie, not a human being, that he should change his mind. Does he speak and then not act? Does he promise and not fulfill?” (Numbers 23:19)
“Know therefore that the LORD your God is God; he is the faithful God, keeping his covenant of love to a thousand generations of those who love him and keep his commandments.” (Deuteronomy 7:9)
“Ah, Lord God! It is you who have made the heavens and the earth by your great power and by your outstretched arm! Nothing is too hard for you.” (Jeremiah 32:17)
“Oh, the depth of the riches and wisdom and knowledge of God! How unsearchable are his judgments and how inscrutable his ways!” (Romans 11:33)
“Our God is in the heavens; he does all that he pleases.” (Psalm 115:3)
“Holy, holy, holy is the Lord of hosts; the whole earth is full of his glory!” (Isaiah 6:3)
