Benevolence
We're Here to Help
We all experience seasons when life becomes difficult and we need someone to come alongside us.
At Immanuel, we believe caring for people in practical ways is an important part of loving our neighbors and living out the Gospel. Our Benevolence Ministry exists to walk alongside individuals and families experiencing financial hardship or an unexpected need.
If you need assistance, we invite you to take the first step by completing our Request for Assistance form below.
How the Process Works
1. Complete the Request Form
Tell us a little about yourself, your current situation, and the assistance you are requesting. Please provide as much information as possible so our team can better understand your circumstances.
2. Our Team Will Review Your Request
Every request is considered individually. Completing an application does not guarantee financial assistance, but our team will carefully review your request and determine what next steps may be available.
3. Meet With a Financial Counselor
Our goal isn't simply to help with an immediate need. We also want to help you move toward greater financial health. Applicants receiving financial assistance are required to participate in at least three sessions with a financial counselor.
4. Assistance Is Provided When Approved
When financial assistance is approved, payments are generally made directly to the appropriate provider or organization on behalf of the applicant. Depending on the circumstances, processing may take up to four weeks.
Ready to Take the Next Step?
You don't have to have everything figured out before asking for help. Complete the form to begin the process. Our team will review your request and follow up with you regarding next steps.
Request AssistanceA Note About Benevolence
Immanuel's Benevolence Ministry is designed to provide thoughtful, responsible assistance to people experiencing genuine financial need. Because needs and available resources vary, not every request can be fulfilled. Our team will prayerfully consider each situation and seek the best way to help.
